London London

Oh well, my first attempt to go to London was a bit frustrating I have to say...tickets bought, a bit of knowledge of the city and...and nobody to go with me. Every single friend of mine seemed to have visited that city at least 3 times..I was really, really, really willing to go on my own but you know the way...I better go to Edinburgh again on my own, it is a small city after all..I can't get lost in a small city..but I can get lost in London. Plus, why go on my own if sooner or later any of my lovely boy friends (male friends if that sounds better) will volunteer to spend 3 days in London with me? Anyway, few months later my friend and I headed off to London. He is a very talkative lad, but I hate talking in the airplane...the condition to travel with me was then: "you talk and I listen"....deal. We got to London city around midnight and it was raining cats and dogs. After asking for some directions I soon realized how pleasant this trip would be...not for the trip itself but for the accent. What a lovely accent they have. (to be continued)
