My first trip to Scotland was last year and I was very excited to see those cute man playing the bagpipes and wearing that kilt...(and no I was not interested whether they were wearing or not underpants). The trip went well apart from the weather...I did know it could be very cold...but nobody ever told me I would end up with frostbite on my ears. Heaven, it was freezing cold...Oh well, off I went to the Highlands hoping I could see Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster...all I saw was a beautiful landscape and a lovely couple that got my attention - she was chinese and he was scottish - (I am a big fan of these nationalities mix - full stop). Our guide was a funny Scottish lad...but he seemed to understand very little about any other part of the world, apart from Canada, Australia, the UK and the USA (and please don't ask me to say America cuz America is a continent not a country as far as I am concerned)....he was kind of talking to the tourists from these areas and ignoring the others....thanks heaven I am a proud brazilian woman who was not offended by that...to be continued
